Project Overview

The All Star Lanes Christmas Campaign was a playful, cinematic festive project built around a Dr Seuss–inspired Grinch narrative. The concept followed a grumpy, burnt-out office worker who’s lost his Christmas spirit—until the HR manager books a night out at All Star Lanes. Through bowling, karaoke, arcade games, good food, and great vibes, our Grinch slowly comes back to life, rediscovering joy and connection.

Written, filmed, edited, and narrated entirely in a Seuss-style poetic rhythm, the campaign blended humour, creativity, and storytelling to showcase All Star Lanes as the perfect escape from workplace stress and seasonal burnout.

Cinematography & Techniques

The campaign took a cinematic approach rarely seen in hospitality marketing.
Using intentional framing, stylised movement, and atmospheric lighting, the visuals were designed to feel like a modern Christmas short film rather than a traditional promotional piece.

Working with the All Star Lanes team as on-screen talent added authenticity and charm, giving the film a warm, community-led feel. Each venue experience, bowling, dining, karaoke, arcade play, was shot with dynamic, energetic camerawork to amplify the fun and bring the poem’s rhythm to life visually.

At the heart of the campaign was the custom-written poem - a Seuss-style rhyme narrating the transformation of our workplace Grinch. The narration guided the story forward, pairing whimsical language with expressive cinematics to capture both the humour and the emotional shift of the character.

The story followed him from office misery to All Star magic - bowling strikes, singing loud, sharing food, laughing with colleagues, and rediscovering the joy he’d buried under workplace stress.

By mixing festive comedy with heartfelt moments, the film highlighted the message that All Star Lanes is more than a venue—it’s a place where people reconnect, unwind, and feel human again.
